Amazon.com AssociateI've also started to collect and read books and other materials required to maintain and upgrade Renegade the best way I can (the first time). Here is my take on these books and publications. This store has been setup in association with Amazon.com and any of the items you see here with the little Amazon.com logo can be purchased through Amazon.com directly from this site.

Jeep Owner's Bible : A Hands-On Guide to... by Moses Ludel. I purchased this after seeing several favorable recommendations in the Wrangler Community Forum at JeepsUnlimited.com. I haven't gotten into it much yet, but I can see it was a worthwhile purchase.

Jeep 4X4 Performance Handbook... by Jim Allen. Also purchased after reading recommendations in the Wrangler Community Forum at JeepsUnlimited.com and although I haven't read much of it yet, I consider it a good purchase.

Ultimate Auto Detailing by David H. Jacobs, Jr. I can't remember when I saw this book at a "bricks and sticks" bookstore and purchased it on impulse. it gathered dust for a long time but recently I've started using it to detail Renegade, my Jeep. I'm also going to apply some of the tricks I'm learning to spif up BillyBob too.

Hot Rods & Custom Classics Hot Rods & Custom Classics This is a CD Box Set from Rhino of four CD's (87 songs) with car tunes between 1946 and 1998. It is well done and packaged in a simulated model car box that any of you who grew up in the sixties like I did will recognize (do companies like AMT, Monogram, Revell and MPC ring a bell?) Each CD has a different custom wheel graphic imprinted on it and each CD case has recognizable decal images (remember the eight-ball lady luck?) and famous custom engine graphics. There are real vinyl decals included (Rancho Diablo Speed Shop, Rhino Flames Logo, Mooneyes), a Mooneyes keychain/bottle opener, A replica Moon catalog, a book with excerpts from Tom Wolfe's "The Kandy-Kolored Tangerine-Flake Streamline Baby", and best of all, a pair of "Fuzzy Dice" (which now hang proudly from BillyBob's rearview mirror).

Shop Vacuum Hitachi wet/dry shop vacuum 7-1/2 Gallon Stainless Steel Industrial Shop Vacuum. This is my first wet/dry vacuum so I don't know how to properly evaluate it yet but, so far, it seems to have enuf Tim "ToolTime" Taylor power to get the jobs done that I've applied it to. Then again, maybe it was the R2D2 likeness that sold me.
